I still see the old site after launch

Almost always it's temporary browser memory. Here's how to check and clear it.

Your browser and your internet connection both store information about a site so it loads faster. After a change, the old version can therefore linger for a while — and only for you, not for everyone else.

Try this, in order

  1. 1Open the site in a private window (Ctrl + Shift + N, or Cmd + Shift + N on a Mac).
  2. 2Try another device — for example a phone off the office Wi-Fi, on mobile data.
  3. 3Force a reload: Ctrl + F5 (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac).
  4. 4Clear your browsing history and temporary browser files.
  5. 5Restart your router — it has its own memory that won't clear otherwise.
If the new site shows up in a private window or on mobile data, everything is fine. It's just your local cache, and it clears itself, usually within 24 hours.
If you can't see the new site on another device either, and still not after 24 hours, contact us. That can point to a badly saved DNS record and we can verify it in minutes.
